Laos gives green light for new Vientiane tourism, cultural park
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Lan Xang Cultural Park Development Co Ltd, a private investment firm based in Vientiane, has been chosen by the government to develop 88 hectares for the newest cultural, botanical and amusement park in the capital city.
The developer is set to invest an initial capital of US$80 million for the three phases of development at the site, including amusement and cultural parks, botanic and zoological gardens, shopping centre and hotels, and housing facilities and infrastructure development.
